I once traveled through Nebraska quite often. Back in the days of driving a long haul truck. I think I remember reports of some minor flooding during bad storms. But its curious about this one. It seems a bit more dramatic, or intense. After 20 years, one might have thought there would be flood management improvements? I mean, our technology today is incredible. Why cant the flood prone areas be managed better? I am guessing money and corruption have something to do with it.
